About AccuMap
AccuMap enables you to quickly gather oil and gas data, analyze the results, and plot maps. It’s ideal for Geophysicists, Engineers, Land personnel, Geologists, Analysts, Technologists, Technicians, Administrators, Accounting, and other petroleum industry personnel. AccuMap also makes it easy to access data for regular updates or strategic planning.
For Canada, AccuMap imports, exports, and displays data using either the North American Datum of 1927 (NAD27) or NAD83. In the U.S., AccuMap uses only the NAD27 datum. Where AccuMap is reading proprietary information in one datum while running using a different datum, the read information is converted to the current running datum (either NAD27 or NAD83) using the NTv2 transformation algorithm.
In Canada, AccuMap uses the following grids:
- Alberta NAD27 with ATS grid 2.6, or NAD83 with ATS grid 4.1.
- All other provinces use either NAD27 or NAD83 with the following DLS version information: BC -PRB 2.0, Saskatchewan -STS 2.5, and Manitoba -MLI07.
Data such as directional surveys is referenced as true north as opposed to grid north.
AccuMap contains a vast store of current oil and gas information for North America:

The following table shows the frequency with which AccuMap data is updated. Not all of the data listed above is available for every region. AccuMap users connected to our hub have immediate access to the latest data while other users only have access to updated data each month.
