The S&P Global Content and AccuMap team have been working on a solution to address wells with more than 9 events. Following this release, users will now be able to interact with the data on the Canadian data HUB and AccuMap.
Are all the >9 well events available?
The extensive dataset will be added and released in phases, starting with wells that have >9 events from 2020 and progressing to current wells.
Why is there data missing in the Header tab of the AccuMap DataCard?
As this is a limited dataset, this data has either not been captured/ provided by the data provider.
Why does the bottom hole location of a >9 well event not correspond to the spatial location on the AccuMap map screen?
The data provider is not able to consume/ process data for >9 well events, therefore amendments are not possible for these wells at this time. AccuMap plots the bottom hole location based off the metes/ bounds from the directional survey. However, the UWI is the originally licensed UWI, not the final bottom hole location.
What data is available for the wells with >9 events?
As this is a limited dataset, well header and licensing information, directional survey, raster/ digital log (where available), and final drill total depth are presented.
Why is there no production data available for wells with >9 events?
The data provider is unable to process, store, and consume data for wells with >9 events, therefore production is not available at this time.
The below image is an example for well with >9 events on the AccuMap Map Screen.

As this is a limited dataset, not all fields will be populated.
