Set the display properties of the following explanatory aids:
- Legend Symbols for well types, contact types, and lithographic fills.
- Scale Bar Increments for the well spacing and depth scale bar.
- Title Block Information about the map author, cross section description, and scale factor.
- Define which explanatory aids to display, what text, symbols or measurements to include, and the overall size. When you clear the Fixed Position option, you can drag these items anywhere on a montage.
- Explanatory aids can be hidden, but they can't be cut, copied, pasted, or deleted.
To configure map legends, titles, and scales
- Click File (
) > Preferences, and then the Map Title tab.
The Preferences: Map Title
dialog box appears.
- Toggle whether to display a reference item, then click the related Properties button to display the Properties dialog box for the desired reference items.
Depending on the selection, one of the following dialog boxes appears:
Legend Properties
dialog box.
Scale Properties
dialog box.
Title Properties
dialog box.
- Configure the display options, and then click OK.
- In the Map
Title tab, configure any remaining AccuLogs display options then
click Apply or OK
to apply these changes to only the current cross section or well
OR
Click Apply and Save As Defaults to apply these changes to the existing well or cross section and all new wells or cross sections.
To drag reference items
- Right-click the desired reference item and from the context menu, click Properties.
- In the Properties dialog box for the reference item you selected, clear Fixed position, and then click OK.
- Drag the reference item to the desired location.
