Preferences (Page Setup)
| With this feature... | Do this... |

| Orientation | Select either Portrait, where width is less than height or Landscape, where height is less than width. |
| Units | Select the units to apply to all measurements on this tab (including page margins and footer margins). |
| Margins | Type a margin to leave around the printed image. By default, a one-inch margin is applied to printed logs. |
| Print Preview | Select whether to display one or two pages simultaneously
in the Print Preview
dialog box. If you select 2 pages,
the Print Preview
dialog box displays both pages, but a One
Page button also appears that you can click to view only one page
instead. If you selected 2 Pages above, you can also select Previous Page to display the page on which the currently selected object appears beside the page that precedes it. |
| Scaling | Select from the following: A standard scale ratio. Custom % and type a percentage by which to shrink or increase the print job. Proportional and type the number of pages over which to distribute the print job. Net scaling factor is for display only and can't be adjusted. |
| Print adornments | Select Footer to print and display the cross
section pathname, number of pages, date, time, etc. in the bottom of the
Print Preview
dialog box. Select Background color to print the current cross section background color. |
