Customizing the Legend
To display the legend, right-click the plot, then select Show Legend. To hide the legend, right-click the legend, then select Hide Legend.
1. Select one or more entities in the Entity Viewer; then click the Diagnostics tab.
2. Right-click the plot; then select Customize Legend...
The Legend dialog box opens.
3. Make your modifications from the following options:
- Font options — see On-screen Text
- Legend Title — enter or modify the legend's title
- Show Data Sets — select the datasets you want to display on the plot and the legend
- Show Legend — shows the legend (when selected) on the plot. When deselected, the legend does not display on the plot
- Show All — shows all annotations attached to the plot or the data (but does not affect annotations attached to the screen)
- Hide All — hides all annotations attached to the plot or the data (but does not affect annotations attached to the screen)
- Move Up / Down — you can move a selected item up or down in the legend
- Screen Scaling Factor — sets the size of the legend relative to the screen
- Print/Copy/Paste Factor — sets the size of the legend, if the plot is copied- and-pasted into a graphics program. Selecting 100% pastes the size as shown on the screen
- Border Style — determines the style of the border around the legend
4. Click OK to accept your changes.
