Dependencies Tab (Probabilistic & Sensitivity Analyses)

After random values are sampled during the simulation, they are processed on the Dependencies tab where relationships between any of the uncertain parameters can be specified and applied via the Correlation Coefficient Matrix. For example, if you have external knowledge that the porosity and permeability in the reservoir are proportional, a correlation coefficient can be specified to represent this relationship. These values must be between -1 and 1, and they are entered into the field that intersects the two desired variables.

The underlying plot displays the generated data on a cross-plot of the two variables that are selected.
