Harmony Analytics dialog box

To access this dialog box, see export to Harmony Analytics.

After you export to Harmony Analytics, the Harmony Analytics dialog box opens. In this dialog box, these items are displayed:

  • (only viewable if you launch from Spotfire) Data Source Selection button — enables you to edit your data source, if you have access rights.
  • Wells count — the number of wells currently selected for importing into Spotfire.
  • Use Memory Optimization checkbox — if you are trying to bring in a huge Harmony file with many wells and production data, your computer may run out of memory. If this is a possibility, select this option. For more information, hover over the checkbox to display the tooltip.
  • Field units or Metric units option — applies this change globally.
  • Load Data button — loads the currently selected wells and data sets into Spotfire.

Well Selection pane

This pane is visible on the left-side from any of the tabs and displays the same drop-down list as the Entity Viewer - Hierarchy. You can select which wells to bring into Spotfire.

Data Set Selection pane

This pane is visible on the right-side and from here you can select which data to bring into Spotfire.

Attributes tab

This tab lists all the attributes from Harmony Enterprise. By default, everything is selected, but you can deselect the attributes you want to exclude from analytics.

Production tab

This tab lists all the production data from the Production editor. By default, everything is selected, but you can deselect the production data you want to exclude from analytics.

Properties tab

This tab lists all the properties data from the Properties editor. By default, everything is selected, but you can deselect the properties data you want to exclude from analytics.

Results tab

This tab lists summary results and filtered analyses. By default, everything is selected, but you can deselect the results you want to exclude from analytics.

If you click the Example link in the top-right-side of the screen, a results example is displayed. This example shows that results are the single-value outcomes of an analysis. In other words, each well can have multiple analyses associated with them, but each analysis can only have one result.

Analyses tab

This tab lists detailed analyses. By default, everything is selected, but you can deselect the analyses you want to exclude from analytics.

If you click the Example link in the top-right-side of the screen, an analyses example is displayed. This example shows that you can import x- and y-plot data for FMB, forecast, and URM analyses.

Template functionality

Template functionality is visible from any of the tabs.

  • Default Template drop-down list — this list is populated after you create a new template. The default template has all items selected.
  • Update button — after you modify one of your templates, you can click this button.
  • New Template — opens a popup where you type a name for your template.

Templates are saved to your hard drive, and can be shared by saving to a network drive, or emailing the template file. To find the location of the template, click Edit Templates, Open Template Folder.

Data Source Selection

When you click this button, you can edit your data source. Note that this button is only displayed, if you start from Spotfire. If you start from Harmony Enterprise, you do not need to select a different data source.
