These forecasts can be exported:

  • Decline
  • Multi-segment decline
  • Water-oil ratio (WOR) total fluid forecast
  • Oil cut total fluid forecast
  • Ratio forecast
  • Custom forecast
  • Forecast consolidation
  • Numerical model forecasts
  • Analytical model forecasts
  • Unconventional reservoir forecasts
  • Typecurve forecasts

To export forecasts:

1. Click the Export icon (Export icon) in the main toolbar and select Production Data, Forecasts, or Decline Analyses.

The export wizard opens.

2. In the Select File and Format dialog box, browse to the location where your text file is to be saved. Click Export Forecasts and click Next.

3. In the Select Entities dialog box, select the entities you want to export using any of the available tabs: Hierarchy, Shared Groups, and Private Groups (if applicable). Click Next. Note that you can search for entities by name by clicking the Search icon.

4. In the Select Analyses dialog box, click the checkboxes for the analyses (including consolidations) you want to export, and then click Next.

5. In the Select Attributes dialog box, click the checkboxes for the attributes and fluid rates / volumes you want to export. Clicking the Include Historical Data checkbox prefixes the historical production from the entity to each forecast until the forecast start date (this does not apply to declines from typewell worksheets). Click Next.

6. In the Export Preview dialog box, review your selections, and then click Finish. Note that the export can be customized as follows:

  • The units for numeric columns can be changed by right-clicking the green column headers.
  • The order of the columns can be customized by dragging-and-dropping the column headers.
  • The resolution can be changed to daily, monthly, or yearly by clicking the D, M, or Y icons in the toolbar.

    • This resolution change only applies to the exported forecast.
    • If historical data is included, that data is always exported at the original resolution (it is not resampled to D, M, or Y).

Note:   Forecasts from Reservoir analyses are calculated based on the timesteps set in the Forecast tab for the analysis. While you can choose to export as daily, if the forecast is calculated at a lower resolution, it gives the same value for each day within the model's timesteps.

The wizard closes, and a message is displayed in the Status Window with the path to the file you exported.
