AliasNames.soap

LOGarc is programmed to access a set of standard-named tables. This file allows the Administrator to specify substitute alias names for those standard names, particularly important where multiple instances are operated, or when using Oracle which restricts the length of a table name. Below, the highlighted names are the alias table names, tagged at each line-end with the standard table name.

This file is located in: C:\Program Files (x86)\IHS\LOGarc Utilities

Some of these example table names may exceed the allowed length of Oracle table names and will have to be adjusted, i.e. LOGTECH_WELL_LOG_DIGIT_CURVE_PARAMETERS is typically abbreviated to LT_WELL_LOG_DIGIT_CURVE_PARAM
and LOGTECH_WELL_ORIGINAL_FILE_ARCHIVE abbreviated to LT_WELL_ORIGINAL_FILE_ARCHIVE

LocationValues.txt

The content of this file indicates to LOGarc and the Admin Loader the path to the location of the data file folders for the LOGarc instance. If the data files are stored on the LOGarc Server PC, the path may be a lettered drive. If the files are stored on the network, a UNC path is required.

This file is normally located in:

C:\Program Files(x86)\IHS\LOGarc Utilities\Setting\

LocationValues.txt—Example

Single LOGarc instance

HOUSTON = \\houlogarc\Logarc_USA\

Multiple Data locations or multiple LOGarc instances

PROPRIETARY = \\CFX123\CORP_DATA\DOMESTIC\LOGARC\

INTERNATIONAL = \\CFX123\CORP_DATA\INTERNATIONAL\LOGARC_DATA\

HOUSTON = \\HOULOGARC\LOGARC_USA\
