WellTest Wizard: Test Type

The test type:

• Controls which analysis types are available for selection.
• Can modify imported data. When the test type is Injection / Falloff or Minifrac, imported rates are converted to negative values.
• Affects default settings. For example, the reservoir pressure defaults to the highest measured pressure for Drawdown / Buildup tests, and the lowest measured pressure for Injection / Falloff tests.
• Impacts error checking intended to prevent you from making mistakes. For example, the cushion pressure (p_wfo) must be less than the initial pressure (p_i) for Perforation Inflow tests, and greater than for Perforation Injection tests.
