Gas Rate (qg)

Gas rate is the amount of gas produced over a given interval of time. It is typically noted in units of MMscf/d or 103m3/d. When entering rates in the Production Editor tab, the following rules apply:

• A positive rate means production
• A negative rate means injection
• A zero rate means shut-in (buildup or falloff)
• An empty rate means use the previous rate
