Working with the Explorer Bar
The Explorer Bar provides a centralized navigation tree
you use to navigate to and display properties for objects in the work
area. Data is presented in the Explorer Bar in a similar fashion to how it is presented in the Show Manager: View Objects by Composition view.
To work with the Explorer Bar
- Ensure the Explorer Bar check box is selected in the Toolbars group in the Toolbars tab of the main ribbon.
The Explorer Bar appears with well objects such as tracks, log scales, log segments, and tops displayed under their parent well. Only objects selected for display in Show Manager appear in the Explorer Bar.
- Work with the Explorer Bar using the following techniques:
- Click +- to expand and contract nodes.
- Right-click an object to access the same right-click functionality available when you right-click the object in the main AccuLogs work area. For example, if you right-click a log scale in the Explorer Bar, you can only view its properties, but if you select a top, you can change its fill patterns, line style, and more.
- Double-click an object to scroll the AccuLogs main work area and display the object in either the top-left corner or center of the main AccuLogs work area.
