About AccuX

AccuX is a prospect evaluation tool that enables you to view, manipulate, and estimate reserves to determine net pay. AccuX reduces the time and risk involved in analyzing potential pay zones.

AccuX loads .las, .xls, and .csv files from either the IHS Energy Information Hub or a local drive and enables you to save general well information, production data, core analyses, and reservoir properties as .xls, .csv, or .html files to use with other applications.

AccuX works with both digital and raster well logs and you can digitize raster logs to supplement cross sections with sparse digital information.

AccuX DB and AccuX Project Modes

AccuX enables you to work in the following two modes:

AccuX DB Mode, where your map extents are the entire Western Canada Basin and limited only by your AccuMap data license. You can view and map this area using target settings and user-defined cutoffs. This mode accesses DSTs, Perfs, AccuMap System/User Tops, etc. from the AccuMap database and writes map settings, cross section lines, polygons, targets, log response query cutoffs, generic user tops, and digital logs loaded from the IHS Energy Information Hub to a working directory you define.

Project Mode, where your map extents are defined by either an AccuMap Detail Map, well list, or coordinates you specify and are limited to 64,000 wells. You can save unique projects with an .acx extension. Currently, project mode includes slightly more functionality than AccuX DB Mode.
