Changing Depth Scale

You can change the number of units that appear in each inch of the depth track from 1 to 50,000 units using the Cross Section/Single Log Viewer Common Properties dialog box. For orientation, 6.0972 meters per inch equals a scale of 1:240.

To set standard depth scales

From the Cross Sec menu, select Standard depth scale > western and a scale between 1:120 and 1:1200.

To set user-defined, non-standard depth scales

1. From the Cross Sec menu, select Properties ().

The Cross Section/Single Log View Common Properties: Datum/Space dialog box appears.

2. In the vertical scale box, type the number of subsea units to display per inch and then click OK. A larger number of units vertically compresses the map.

Note: For your scale to print accurately, your zoom factor must be set to 100%.
