Changing Lat. Long. for Wells

You can define and redefine the Lat. Long. for any well that appears in your cross section. If you create a well from a .las file, it won't appear on the map because regular .las files don't have Lat. Long. information with normal precision. To display wells created from .las files in the cross section, after creating the well, type the Lat. Long. information in the Single Well Properties dialog box.

You must have more than one well with a valid Lat. Long. before any wells appear in the map.

To change lat longs for wells

1. Double-click the log or well header, not a curve or top.

The Single Well Properties: Location dialog box appears.

2. In the latitude and longitude boxes, type location information then click OK.
