You can increase the extents of your project by importing a larger land grid into AccuX that was exported from an AccuMap Detail Map and then populating this grid with wells from AccuMap.
If you don't want a land grid, you can simply draw a polygon larger than your current project and then populate the area within the polygon with wells from AccuMap.
The following process details the method of extending your project by importing an AccuMap land grid.
To extend project areas
1. Create an AccuMap Detail Map centered on the same area as your AccuX project, but with greater map extents.
2. From the AccuMap main menu, select Detail Map > Export Map > Export Grid > GeoGraphix and then save the current Detail Map grid to disk with a .grd extension.
3. With the project for which you want to increase the area displayed in AccuX, from the AccuX main menu, select Map > Add > Add Cartographic Data > Land Grid from GeoGraphix .GRD, and then browse to and select the file you saved above.
AccuX increases the extents of the project's land grid to the extents of the AccuMap Detail Map.
4. From the AccuX main menu, select Global > AccuMap > Add New Wells.
AccuX imports all the wells that fall within the new extents and the downloaded wells are encircled in pink until you save your project.
