You can create a delta phi curve for a single well in a cross section. Delta phi equals neutron porosity less density porosity and is used to map gas effect in a cross section. If there is no density porosity, sonic porosity can be used as a second curve.
Note: You can only create one delta phi curve
for each well.
To locally create delta phi curves
1. Right-click the cross section and from the shortcut menu, select create Delta Phi curve.
The Selection
dialog box appears.
2. Select the neutron porosity curve in the basic curve drop-down box, select the density porosity (or sonic porosity) curve in the second curve drop-down box, and then click OK.
Note: You cannot shift the delta phi curve by
depth or edit its values. Instead, these are automatically updated when
you modify the basic and second curves.
