Creating a Custom Group / Group Set

To create an empty custom group:
1. Click the Entity Viewer - Custom pane.
2. Click the Add
Entity icon (
) on the toolbar.
3. Select Empty Custom Group.
Creating a Custom Group with One or more Entities
To create a custom group that contains one or more entities:
1. Select one or more entities in the Entity Viewer - Hierarchy pane.
2. Do one of the following:
- Drag the selected entities into the Custom pane.
- Click the Add
Entity icon () on the toolbar, and select Group From Selected
Entities.
Note: To rename a custom group, right-click the tab's name and select Rename; then enter a new name.
Creating a Custom Group Set
You can further organize custom groups by creating sets of custom groups displayed inside their own named tabs.
To create a tabbed custom group set:
1. Click the Entity Viewer - Custom pane.
2. Click the Add
Custom Group Tab icon (
).
A new group set is created.
