Sample Database

The sample database that we provide is a Microsoft Access database populated with sample data. We recommend using this sample database in order to become familiar with Fekete Views, and the process of importing data into the Harmony program.

Note:   If you are not familiar with creating an ODBC Data Source, consult with your IT department, or contact us.

To set up the sample database:

1. Browse to the folder where the sample database has been installed:

• 32-bit Windows: C:\Program Files\IHS\IHS Harmony <version>\FDBCSupportFiles\IHS\Test Database.mdb
• 64-bit Windows: C:\Program Files (x86)\IHS\IHS Harmony<version>\FDBCSupportFiles\IHS\Test Database.mdb

2. Do one of the following:

• Open the sample database file.
• Create a DSN to connect to the sample database.

3. Once the sample database has been connected, you can browse the wells and their data in the sample database using the Database Connection Tool.
