With layers, you can subdivide a well into component layer sections, so you can perform multilayer analysis.
Layers for multilayer wells can only be created or deleted in the Entity Viewer - Hierarchy. Individual layers cannot be seen in the Entity Viewer - Custom.
Layer entities, once created, behave similarly to well entities, by having their own properties, production data (calculated), attributes, and analyses.
Note: Layer entities do not have their own Static Pressure editor or their own Wellbore editor.
