To add LAS files to projectsYou can import proprietary wells and associated curves saved in .las format to projects. For the well to appear in the project map, after importing it, you must add valid Lat. Long. coordinates using the Single Well Properties dialog box.
To add LAS files to projects
1. From the Well menu, select Load Single Well from LAS.
The Open dialog box appears.
2. Browse to and select the .las file, and then click Open.
The Log Import Filter
dialog box appears.
3. Select the curves to include and if required, the Begin Depth and End Depth values, and then click Continue.
The well and the imported log(s) appears in the Cross Section Viewer.
4. Double-click the log or well header, not a curve or top.
The Single Well Properties: Location
dialog box appears.
5. Type both the surface and bottom Lat. Long. for the imported well and then click OK.
The Lat. Long. you typed appear in the well header and the well appears on the project map.
