To align core and log dataYou can vertically move core analyses to reduce discrepancies between cores and log data and, if you have a licensed version of AccuMap, you can update the current core analyses that appear in your cross section with the latest ones from the IHS Energy Information Hub. Both procedures appear below.
To align core and log data
1. Click petro
track (
) in the Standard toolbar.
2. From the Cross Sec menu, select Properties (
).
The Cross Section/Single Log View Common
Properties: Options
dialog box appears.
3. Click the Options tab, in the presentation details area select core analyses, and then click OK.

4. Hover your cursor over the cores until PHI_Core appears then click to select the cores. The selected cores appear bold. |

Note: If you cannot select the cores, in the
scale area, double-click PHI_CORE in the well header.
The Single Curve Managing
dialog box appears.
5. Ensure the set editing mode checkbox is selected and then click OK.
6. Using the up and down arrow keys on the keyboard, vertically move the core porosity values to correlate with the well log.
To
update core analyses from the hub
Right-click
a well in the cross section and from the shortcut menu, select Reload
Core Analyses from Data Hub.
