To delete well objects using
the keyboard or shortcut menuYou can remove any object that appears in a well including curves, completion objects, and tops using a shortcut menu, the DELETE key on the keyboard, or by dragging the object into the garbage can.
To delete well objects using
the keyboard or shortcut menu
Right-click the object to delete and
from the shortcut menu, select Remove
object from well
OR
Select the object and press Delete
on the keyboard.
To delete well objects using
the garbage can
1. From the View menu, select Toolbars > Garbage Can.
The garbage can appears.
2. Double-click the well object to remove.
The associated properties dialog box appears. For
example, the completion object properties
dialog box.
3. Click the options tab and select allow drag – drop and then click OK.
4. Drag the item to the garbage can. Objects dragged to the garbage can are automatically deleted from the project. A confirmation dialog box doesn't appear.
