To delete single formation tops
from wellsYou can delete individual tops that appear in wells either by selecting the top and pressing the DELETE key, or by dragging the top into the garbage can.
If working in Project mode, as well as the above options, you can delete multiple tops using the Global Stratigraphic Settings and Properties dialog box.
When working in AccuX DB mode, AccuMap user tops you delete in AccuX are also deleted from the corresponding well in the AccuMap user tops database.
To delete single formation tops
from wells
1. Click to
select the top and press DELETE
on the keyboard
OR
From the View menu, select
Toolbars > Garbage Can.
The garbage can appears.
2. Drag the top to the garbage can.
Tops dragged to the garbage can are automatically deleted from the project. A confirmation dialog box doesn't appear.
To delete formation tops from
projects
1. From
the Stratigraphy menu,
select Stratigraphy Manager
OR
From the Project menu, select
Global stratigraphic settings and
properties.
The Global Stratigraphic Settings and
Properties
dialog box appears.
2. Do one of the following:
To delete a single top, from the stratigraphy
object list, select the desired top and click remove
OR
To remove all tops from the project, click remove all then click Close.
