You can manually move a top using the mouse or keyboard.
When working in AccuX DB mode, whether a top is a system top (vendor supplied), a user top (a modified system top), or a generic top (specific to the current project only) is signified by an <S>, <U>, or <G> beside the top name in the cross section view. Any system top you move automatically becomes a user top and is written to the AccuMap user tops database.
All tops in Project mode are considered generic and are saved only with the current AccuX project.
To move formation tops using
the mouse
1. Click and hold the top to move.
2. Move your mouse up and down to ensure you've selected a top and not a curve.
3. Drag
the curve to the desired depth, monitoring the Depth
and Subsea in the right
side of the status bar.

To move formation tops using
the keyboard
1. Click
to select the top and ensure three boxes appear in the middle and at either
end of the top.
2. Press and hold
the up or down arrow key to move the top, monitoring the top depth in
the left side of the status bar.
3. Click another area of the cross section to deselect the top.
