You can either print maps or copy them to your clipboard and paste them into other applications. Before printing, you can toggle which lines of cross section to display (if at all), whether a legend of symbols from your map appears, and type header information for the map such as company, area, title, and author. |
You can specify whether to output to either a printer or to your clipboard and specify whether to output the entire map that appears in the left pane or just the portion bounded by the orange print rectangle.
You can click and drag to adjust the bounding print rectangle.
To print maps
1. From the Map menu, select Map Output Prep > Map Print Options.
The Print/Copy Setup for Map
dialog box appears.
2. Select the desired cross section line print options and then click OK.
3. From the Map menu, select Map Output Prep > Map Title.
The Map
Title Information dialog box appears.
4. Type the desired header information and then click OK.
5. From the File menu, select Print Setup and then click OK.
Note: Ensure your
print options are set so the document is processed by your computer and
not the printer or print server.
To copy the map to another application, click the map to make it active then from the Map menu, select Copy Entire Map.
Note: To maintain the quality of AccuX objects
you paste into other applications, in the third-party application, select
Edit > Paste
Special > Enhanced Metafile (EMF)
format.
