Creating a Hall Plot Analysis

The slope of a Hall plot indicates a well's average injectivity. At normal conditions, the plot is a straight line; deviations indicate changes in injection conditions.

Note:   You can only perform a hall plot analysis on individual wells.

To create a hall plot surveillance analysis:

1. Launch an entity for analysis.

2. Click the Surveillance thumbnail; then select the Hall Plot worksheet.

The worksheet opens, displaying a Hall plot.

Note:   By default, the Hall Plot worksheet displays the Hall Coefficient on the left y-axis and Cumulative Water Injected on the x-axis.

You may use the Plot Selection tab to apply any other datasets (e.g., Injection Tubing Pressure and Operated Water Injection Rate) to the plot.

Creating a Hall plot in the Diagnostics Data Viewer is a quick way to view the Hall plot for each of your injector wells. If these wells are grouped together in the Entity Viewer (e.g., in a Custom Group), you can quickly view the Hall plots of all of your injector wells by pressing the up and down arrows on your keyboard.
