Configuring LOGarc Utilities

If you are installing for the first time you need to create the DATA FILE Directories. These are the permanent data management folders for LOGarc data:

Prepare your workstation for LOGarc Utilities

  1. Create a Root folder— most commonly named “LOGARC_DATA"
  2. Create the following data sub-folders:

ARCHIVE

CURVEDB

RASTERS

MERGE

The MERGE folder is used with the Activate Gold Functionality (Merge) option.

To configure LOGarc Utilities

  1. Start LOGarc Utilities. If the database has not been configured yet, you will get an error message: “Object reference not set to an instance of an object”. Click OK.
  2. Click on the Configure tab. There are 6 tabs for configuring the application to load data. Begin with the DSN’s/Directories tab.
