You can hide tops to show that a formation layer disappears on a log and re-display these tops in the future for either individual logs or the entire well. Separate topics for hiding and displaying tops appear below.

To hide formation tops in single
wells
1. In the well log on which to hide the top double-click the top to hide.
The Single Top Properties: Basic
dialog box appears.
2. Select invisible and then click OK.

To display formation tops in
single wells
1. Double-click the log or well header, not a curve or top.
The Single Well Properties: Options
dialog box appears.
2. Select the Options tab and select show masked tops and then click OK.
All hidden tops appear.
