Updating Project Formation Tops with AccuMap Formation Tops

You can import user and system tops from AccuMap into your current AccuX project.

Before importing, you can delete either some or all of the current AccuX generic tops (for details, see Organizing Tops in the Related Topics below). Tops imported from AccuMap overwrite those in your project with the same abbreviation and AccuMap user tops are dominant over AccuMap system tops so that if you import both, user tops overwrite system tops with the same abbreviation.

If you have both IPL and ACD AccuMap installations, AccuX imports tops from the AccuMap version you last ran.

To update project formation tops with AccuMap formation tops

1. From the AccuX Stratigraphy menu, select one of the following:

Get User Tops from AccuMap to import tops from the AccuMap user database of tops.
Or

Get System and User Tops from AccuMap to import tops from both the AccuMap user database of tops and the default system tops that shipped with AccuMap.

2. Click OK to accept the confirmation window and begin downloading tops from your AccuMap tops database.
