You can zoom using either the main menu, Standard menu toolbar buttons, or, if using Project Mode, by pressing CTRL while rotating your mouse wheel.

You can also use the Virtual Magnifying Glass to quickly zoom in on an area of the map, cross section, or map legend without enlarging the entire view. |
From the Map or Cross Sec menu, select Change View then one of the following:
> Zoom (mouse) then click the map to place the zoom center, drag to draw your zoom boundaries, then click again to set the zoom boundaries and zoom.
> Zoom in
> Zoom out
> Set Zoom Factor then select the specific amount by which to zoom.
OR
To zoom the cross section, click the cross section to set your focus and then click one of the following in the Standard toolbar:
> to increase the view.
> to decrease the view.
OR
To zoom the map, click the map and then click one of the following in the Left toolbar:
> to draw a box for your zoom extents.
> or press - to multiply the current view ratio by two.
> or press + to divide the current view ratio by two.

To zoom using the Virtual Magnifying
Glass
1. Click mgnf () in the Standard toolbar.
2. The cursor becomes a square-shaped Virtual Magnifying Glass.

3. Hover the cursor over the area to enlarge. |
4. To clear the Virtual Magnifying Glass, click mgnf () in the Standard toolbar.
