Import from Piper forecasts

If you have forecasts in Piper®, you can import them into Harmony Enterprise, but the wells in Piper must have originated from Harmony Enterprise. This is because Piper uses a unique Harmony identifier to match Piper forecasts to the wells in Harmony Enterprise.

To import from Piper:

1. Click the Import menu and select Piper Forecasts.

Or, click the Import icon () in the main toolbar and select Piper Forecasts.

2. Review your merge options in the Confirm Import Merge Options dialog box. To change your settings, click the Options icon (), which opens the Options dialog box. To proceed without make changes, click OK.

Note:   Incoming Piper wells are merged with existing wells in Harmony Enterprise.
We do not use the Updating Data | Analysis Data settings in the Options dialog box. Instead, when wells exist in the Piper .fdb file, but do not exist in the Harmony Enterprise project, they are not added. For wells that exist, incoming forecasts are always added, and added as new analyses (existing analyses are not modified).
