Changing Z Value Colors

You can adjust the contour line range and change the color fill spectrum to highlight areas with a particular Z value range.

For example, if you are seeking map areas with a Z-value of 965 subsea and greater, change the min value to 964 and associate it with a dark color. Then select the max value, change it to 1000, and associate it with a light color. All Z values between 965 and 1000 are gradationally highlighted.

To change Z value colors

1. In the left toolbar, click Map Contour ().

The Map Contours dialog box appears.

2. Ensure USER MIN MAX is selected in the Color Method list.

3. Type the desired values in the Max Color Z and Min Color Z boxes, and then click Apply.

To invert the min max colors click Flip.
