To create lithology columnsYou can use the lithology pattern toolbar to build a lithology column in the lithology track for presentation.
To create lithology columns
1. Ensure the litho track (
)
is selected in the Standard toolbar.
2. Click top
(
) in the Standard toolbar.
When you move your cursor over the cross section
area, a top appears below your cursor.
3. Scroll to the desired location using the window scroll box or scroll arrows.
4. Click to place the top.
5. Click the desired lithology button in the Lithology Pattern toolbar.

When you hover your cursor over a lithology pattern, the lithology name appears. Alternatively, you can hover the Virtual Magnifying Glass over the map legend. |

Your cursor becomes a fill icon and the lithology pattern name appears. |

6. Click the area in the lithology track below the top to fill with the lithology pattern.
Note:
If you place a second top in the filled
area, only the area below the first top placed retains the fill pattern.
