Creating a Sensitivity Analysis

To create a sensitivity analysis:

1. Launch an entity for analysis.

2. Create one of the supported models and generate a valid forecast.

3. Add a worksheet; click the Probabilistic & Sensitivity thumbnail; then select Sensitivity Analysis.

Note:   Gas, oil, and water sensitivity analyses require an IHS RTA license. CBM sensitivity analyses require an IHS CBM license.

4. Select the Analytical Model analysis in the Analysis Manager.

5. Specify upper and lower limits.

6. Click Generate Analysis.

The results are displayed as a tornado plot or a spider plot.

• Autocalc Results — select this option to update the analysis automatically whenever an upper or lower limit is modified.
• Reset Values — resets the parameter values to those inherited from the analytical model's analysis.
