Analytical Model

Analytical models are used to validate interpretations and provide production forecasting. Analytical models assume single-phase flow in the reservoir and are available for gas, oil, and water production with the following model options:

Composite	Hz Multifrac Enhanced Frac Region	Vertical
Fracture	Hz Multifrac General	Water Drive
Horizontal	Hz Multifrac SRV (Uniform Fracs)
Hz Multifrac Composite	Multilayer

 

Note:   Analytical models are available with an IHS RTA or IHS CBM license. Note that in the Properties editor, CBM wells use CBM properties, and if there is any water saturation in the reservoir, water properties as well.
