Adding company layers

Administrators configure proprietary spatial layers using Admin Console. They then log onto EDIN Desktop after adding a switch to their EDIN Desktop shortcut. Logging on to EDIN Desktop with this switch enables administrators to configure how company layers appear to other EDIN Desktop users.

Before publishing the layers, administrators can preview them.

Complete the following steps to enable, configure, and publish company layers:

1. Add proprietary shapefiles to EDIN Desktop.

2. Launch EDIN Desktop in Admin mode.

3. Edit layer attributes, Change spatial layer display, Change the layer draw order, and Group the Layer Legend.

4. Publish the map.
